All Rhododendron species live in cool mixed areas on the mountain top with altitudes above 1000 meters above sea level. Although Rhododendron flowers are able to grow and develop in the highlands and mixed with heat, flower development is not optimal. Make the color and structure of the flowers less attractive to those that grow on top of a mountain. Has heavy textured, elliptical leaves that are 2.5 inches long.
Spot character: Flowers with conspicuous color (usually red), thick oval leaf.
